Your PAL
I’m Nels Bergmark. My son, my wife, and I started PeterAllenLee (Bookkeeping) in 2020.
Using my extensive background and experience in bookkeeping and business, we added Betty, my wife, who understands that bookkeeping and accounting is where I excel and thrive, along with my son’s willingness to learn from me and to assist me. Together, we’re a tight knit, winning team, working hard for you!
The current trend for our services is toward virtual bookkeeping, and we are willing to adapt to do just about anything necessary for our clients. We’re excited to expand our client base, focusing our time in 3 niches.
Our 3 areas of focus currently are “clinical stage pharmaceutical and medical device” companies, building and remodeling construction companies, and non-profit organizations.

Meet Our Team
Nels Bergmark
I’ve been in the bookkeeping/accounting industry for over 40 years. My experience spans over a variety of companies with different individual needs.
This experience includes being the business manager of a public-school, the controller of a grey iron foundry, the accounting manager for a meat processing company, the accounting manager for a large trucking company, and I’ve been the treasurer, bookkeeper, and human resource director for 5 clinical phase medical device startup companies and 2 clinical phase pharmaceutical startup companies, and I’ve also been the treasurer and bookkeeper for 3 non-profit organizations.
Apart from my accounting experience, I have been a laborer in the building trades, a teacher and coach, a restaurant manager, a salesman, and an owner of numerous one and two-man businesses.

Brent Bergmark
I am a Certified QuickBooks Online advisor. I have 20 plus years of QuickBooks experience specializing in inventory management, sales, accounts payable, cash management, account reconciliations, and bank feed data management.
In the past, I worked in wholesale lighting distribution for 20 years in Tucson, AZ.
I was educated at West Lafayette High School and Purdue University. I moved back to West Lafayette 3 years ago and have been developing and refining my bookkeeping/accounting skills, learning from and working with my father Nels Bergmark.
I’ve been married to my wife, Lauren, for 18 years, and we have a teenaged daughter named Ashley.
